Jerry Brooks: Bio

Jerry Brooks - Entertainer-Publisher-Songwriter-Record-Producer

Jerry began his singing in church, and continued
through high school. Jerry joined a group called the "Elgins" this group would be sponsored by the famous Leroy Fann of (Ruby and The Romantics) who recorded the groups first song entitled "RETHA-MAE"on Congress Records, in New York.

Jerry moved to Detroit,he was introduced to Golden Hits Productions, Jerry would have a recording entitled "FREE AT LAST Great Day A Comin,"That would hit the charts. # one for fourteen weeks. This would launch Brook's music career

Jerry moved to California. He was fortunate,enough to meet (HAROLD JACKSON) musical-director for America's Favorite Group The Ink-Spots. Jerry traveled with the group and retired in 1996.

Jerry then joined a band called (Pieces Of Eight)
this is the old Joe Lignin band, This bunch of musicans are the Jazz& Blues pro's that you don't ever want to miss.This group travels around the world making people happy.
Jerry recently returned from Australia.
Jerry was introduced to Carlton Fisher of The Legendary Vibrations, and now is a member of this Dynamic Group!!!! the group has traveled around the country this year. Doing such venues as the Kodak Theater, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Center, The Gibson Ampiteater, The Star Plaza Theater and The Cerritos Performing Arts Center The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza also The Marin Theater
